A Global Integrated Solutions Company and Cisco Gold Partner with a superb
reputation in network and infrastructure consultancy worldwide are looking for
a Cisco Security Specialist to assist its pre-sales team. The successful
candidate will be a specialist in the field of Network Security, ideally across
a number of different vendor areas to include some of: Cisco Systems Security
portfolio (inc Cisco PIX), Check Point / Nokia (FireWall-1 VPN-1, IPxx etc),
Juniper (NetScreen, SSL, IDP etc) and Wireless LAN security, with at least 3
years implementing security solutions and policies. You will also have assisted
sales teams in a pre-sales capacity with the acquisition of new business. You
will be familiar with a wide range of security solutions (such as IPS, IDS, AV,
Firewalls, VPN , Internet pops, Authentication, Clean Access technologies) and
should have in depth knowledge of current regulatory and compliance issues,
i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley, BS7799 and security technologies such
as single sign on, content filtering, mail filters and wireless. An
understanding of LAN, WAN and IP technologies along with a CISSP, CCSP, SSCP,
CISM or similar accreditation would be of particular relevance. This high
profile role will involve developing partnerships with clients and providing
