Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Dynamic privately held security company in Boston is seeking a sales engineer
to both actively work with the sales team AND act as a technical expert in
supporting customer personnel. This position requires someone with strong
interpersonal skills, customer service and understanding since a majority of
your time will be spent developing and maintaining technical relationships. If
you are a current sales engineer, and prefer not to travel, this is the ideal
role for you. This is a high energy, dynamic team, and fun work environment.
It offers a very competitive compensation and commission package.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a network sales engineer
• 3+ years of experience with network security concepts, tools
and techniques, knowledge of information security products and techniques,
vulnerability scanners, IDS, firewalls, encryption technologies
• Experience in both Unix and Windows administration
• Penetration testing knowledge is plus.
• Prior technical sales support experience
• 10% travel to conferences and trade shows
• Candidate must be a local Boston resident. No relocation offered.
• Must have proof of the Right to Work in the U.S.
