Position: Security Engineer
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
Type: Permanent F/T

Please Note! These roles are based in Canberra and require Australian
Citizenship.
Cybertrust are building a Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Canberra to meet
growing international demand for Managed Security Services.
Are you an expert in the field of Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
(IDS/IPS)?
Can you spot covert channels in data streams, uncover computer espionage or
have experience investigating professional hackers? Do you have the knowledge
of a Black Hat but follow the ethos of a White Hat?

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
You have a strong security mindset and are comfortable with working in
UNIX-based environments including Sun Solaris, Nokia, Cisco and Linux.
You have a good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP).
You are capable and willing to acquire in-depth knowledge of network- and host
security technologies and products (such as firewalls, Network IDS, scanners)
and continuously improve these skills.
