Position: Security Engineer
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia
Type: Permanent F/T

Cybertrust are building a Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Canberra to meet
growing international demand for managed security services. Positions are
available in all fields of IT Information security.
Available Roles Include:
Security Analysts
Security Engineers
Service Delivery Managers/Customer Service Managers
Technical Team Leaders and more

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You have a very strong security mindset and are expert with working in
Unix-based environments.
You have achieved in-depth knowledge of network- and host security technologies
and products (such as firewalls, Network IDS, Scanners) and continuously
improve these skills.
You communicate proficient, both via e-mail and telephone, both internally as
towards customers.
You work scalable and follow strict procedures. You are disciplined in
installation, documentation, event handling and change control.
You can work in a team, coach and transfer (train) technical skills to team
members. Depending on the operational need, you are willing to work shifts.
You work in a worldwide 24x7 operational, highly secured environment.
You are willing to be available in a standby function during weekends to assist
operations in case of unexpected short-term high workload.
