Business Information Security Officer
The Information Security professional will play a key role to ensure
information security controls and policy are adequately addressed and managed
for eBusiness. They will help develop and implement a risk-based assessment
methodologies in support of the business. They will ensure proper technology
risk considerations are identified and addressed as a result of the information
security assessment process. They will be a part of a team that is responsible
for providing proactive solutions to correct exposures or mitigate risk. This
person will be responsible for keeping abreast of new threats and
vulnerabilities to systems and business. This person will be part of a team
responsible for identifying risks and provide proactive solutions. S/he will be
accountable for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and
supporting information security systems (software & hardware). Other
responsibilities include: security incident response, security awareness and
training, e
stablishing risk based metrics, knowledge and business processes to review,
design and implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while
protecting the Bank's assets and develop and implement security standards,
procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environment (e.g.
web based, client server, distributed, mainframe, etc).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

5+ years in a systems engineering or process engineering with experience in
technology risk and Information Security disciplines; Proven expertise in both
understanding of business requirements and in all areas of technology risk,
including: Information Security, Business Continuity, and Operational Risk;
Previous hands on experience conducting Information Security risk assessments
is required. Prior expirence with system administration and or security
administration with at least three of the following platforms: database,
wintel, unix, or network; Knowledge of a wide range of technologies and
security best practices; Strong understanding of risk management and process
improvement; Proven ability to identify security threats and to learn new areas
quickly and to work with subject matter experts in the Bank to create new
security standards and solutions; Experience researching new areas or products;
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;Team player with strong leadersh
ip, interpersonal, communication, influence and project management skills.
