Position: Security Consultant
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-02-16
Our client, a world-class security enterprise technology company, is seeking a
senior Network Security Professional Services Consultant with a strong
technical background and experience in the network security space.
Responsibilities
1. Work with customers and internal cross-functional teams to develop and
implement technical solutions. Interact with clients one on one and in groups.
2. Contribute to engagement planning, prepare written deliverables (SOW's) and
ensure deliverables correspond to statement of work. Research, design and
configure technical solutions
3. Assist in the development and delivery of presentation to stakeholders,
clients and prospects.
4. Identify project goals and milestones and manage projects to timeline and
budget. Participate in the development of prof services methodologies and
tools.
5. Clearly and precisely communicate task and project information and status to
technical team and to management.
6. Maintain a deep understanding of security practices, principles, security
technologies, etc.
You may be located anywhere in the United States.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
1. (Preferred) Industry standard certifications such as CISSP, SANS
GCIH/GCIA/GSNH or CISA /CISM preferred; BA/BS information technology/computer
science or related field preferred
2. One of the following: Web Application development, (HTML, CGI, ASP, JSP).
3. One of the following: Scripting languages - Python, Perl., enterprise
Integration and data exchange technologies and concepts
4. One of the following: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or SQL query
development
5. Other technology requirements: Working knowledge of security audits and
operation risk management concepts
-Domestic and international travel required - at least 50%.
