Network Supervisor-Network Security
This supervisory role will be responsible for the Network Security Engineering
team and the Master Architect within the ICS Security Delivery Group. The
selected candidate’s primary roles include security infrastructure
engineering, project design, managing 3rd level support of availability and
security incidents, corporate architecture process participation, capacity
planning, disaster recovery planning, and security infrastructure enhancements.
Primary responsibilities of the ICS Security Engineering team will be to
support the Security Quality Assurance team, the Security Operation Center, and
the Security Support team with leading the design and implementation of
technology. This will initially be done by directing security standards and
technologies, assist in driving new capabilities and direction, and monitoring
ongoing activities and projects. The selected candidate will also be involved
in the identification, evaluation, and selection of new personnel and expand
ing the infrastructure security tool portfolio as necessary to enhance the
availability, integrity and confidentiality of HCSC’s infrastructure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

1) Bachelors degree with 4 years of IT security work experience OR 6 years IT
security experience; 2) 4 years experience in one of the follow areas:
Administrative Safeguards (security policy and procedure, security incident
response and reporting, disaster recover planning) and/or Technical Safeguards
(network access controls, encryption/decryption of electronic transmissions; 3)
2 years in Supervisory or Team Leadership roles within a security group; 4) 4
years experience in network infrastructure security environment with hands on
experience in two or more of the following: Security Audit, Security Event
Monitoring / Correlation, Security Incident Management, Malicious Software
Protection, IDS/IPS, VPN (IPSec and/or SSL), Firewall, Radius Authentication,
Load Balancing and/or Defense-In-Depth
Preferred Job Requirements:
1) 4 years hands on technical information security experience; 2) 4 years hands
on experience in network management (routers and switches), protocol analysis,
or firewall management; 3) 2 years of Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations (experience
working with or implementing); 4) CISSP or SANS GIAC certifications;
