Position: Information Assurance Engineer
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-02-12
This Principal Systems Security Engineer will work in the Government Systems
Information Assurance department to perform systems engineering and design
architecture tasks in the areas of information assurance and information
security. Candidate must have the ability to perform system requirements and
design analysis for embedded real-time communications and navigation equipment.
Candidate must also have basic knowledge of information assurance and security
engineering principles involving communications and/or navigation security,
network security, computer security, key management and other areas of
information assurance. Candidate must have excellent communications and
teamwork skills and will be responsible for working with a large team involved
in the implementation of security solutions that will be embedded in Government
Systems products.
Candidate will be writing and evaluating all types of design and security
related documentation required for product development and certification as
well as making recommendations concerning information assurance product
embedments and security design. Candidate will be interfacing directly with
other Rockwell Collins business areas and other potential customers as well as
the National Security Agency (NSA) on a large variety of design and security
related issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field (or six years
related exempt experience) plus ten years related exempt experience.
Additional Requirements:
Candidate must have held or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security
Clearance
