We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Developer.
The idea candidate will:
Lead critical design, development and support initiatives key to company
growth.
Create innovative technical solutions that realize the vision of the company.
Ability to lead efforts to develop and extend system functionality to meet
defined business needs.
Architect, analyze, design and development of J2EE applications.
Lead efforts to design multiple, integrated modules to meet particular
requirements, including the definition and writing of software specifications
(design specs, functional specs)
Prototype functionality to evaluate architecture-level design trade-offs and
new tools, methods and technologies.
Understand configuration management, packaging methodology and techniques.
Effectively document technical issues, changes to code, etc.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior development resources
Maintain the integrity of core platform source code throughout the life cycle.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
MINIMUM:
A minimum of 6 - 8 years of commercial software development experience, with
specific experience in the following areas:
Hands on programming experience with Java, J2EE – 4 - 5 years
Analysis and Design using UML – 1- 2 years
Experience applying development methodologies, such as RUP, XP, other – 2
years
Demonstrated expertise with JSP, EJB, JMS and XML
Solid understanding and experience with OO Design Patterns and Web Services
Experience with Struts or spring, JBoss (or other J2EE compliant Application
Servers) is required.
Experience using Regular expressions, Hibernate and Sun One Directory Server or
other LDAP server is preferred.
M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
