Position: Auditor
Location: Poughkeepsie, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for audits of IT systems and
operating procedures in accordance with established standards and policies.
Position may also involve non-systems internal audits of other financial areas
of the Company’s insurance operations.
DUTIES: Responsible for coordination, planning and execution of internal audits
primarily involving IT systems for accuracy and security.
Makes recommendations and implements improved IT control procedures.
Coordinates local internal audits that are outsourced. Performs and/or
monitors that all work is in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Performs other internal audits in non-IT areas as requested by management.
Develops audit programs and procedures. Special projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
SKILLS: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 -
6years of related internal audit experience with a concentration in IT systems
work. Insurance industry background a plus. Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley
requirements. Detail oriented and able to manage several concurrent projects.
