Position:       Sr. Security Analyst
Location:       Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type:           Contract

Closing Date:   2007-01-21

Our Client is seeking an Access Profiling Security Analyst on a contract basis 
in Charlotte, NC.
This position interfaces with Line of Business (LOB) contacts to develop access 
profiles.  Access profiles define internal user system access rights based on a 
job function.  The incumbent will:

• Organize, schedule, and lead telephone meetings with the line of 
business.  
• Follow up on issues to ensure closure and escalate to management as 
needed.
• Be comfortable communicating at various levels of management.
• Provide customer service to the LOB and answer any profile questions.
• Track and report on project progress.
• Utilize an in-house application and the Control-SA Enterprise Security 
Station Console system to update and maintain the profile.
• Obtain required approvals and implement changes to profiles.
• Coordinate efforts with other Information Security departments, as 
needed.
• Identify and implement any process / workflow improvement opportunities




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Skills and Experience
• 3+ years of information security and/or information technology 
experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills/team player. Act as a liaison between the 
LOB and other information security groups.  
• Strong meeting facilitation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills – Listen and 
clarify internal customer requirements, discern and document issues, identify 
and implement corrective action.
• A broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g., dual 
control, authorization, authentication, access control, confidentiality, 
integrity etc.).
• A detailed, access administration knowledge of various platforms 
(Mainframe MVS, Windows 2000, UNIX [AIX, Sun/Solaris, Linux, HP], AS400, 
Tandem, VAX) and security systems (RACF, Active Directory, etc.).
• Attention to detail/quality focus.
• Strong organization/project management skills.  Ability to handle 
several requests simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with initiative. Willing to learn, 
motivated.
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking 
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, 
PowerPoint.
