Position: Software Engineer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Position Description:
TWCGroup has been retained by a leading provider of software security products
to identify and hire software engineers to work with a top-notch team to build
our Java-based Console, which centrally manages our suite of database security
products. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience developing
commercial Java applications. The candidate will also be able to resolve
technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Solid
experience with databases is a must, and Swing experience is a plus. Specific
experience in one or more of the following areas - vulnerability assessment,
intrusion detection systems or general application and network security - is
also desired.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:
Five to seven years progressive infrastructure management in a cross
platform-Unix/Windows environment.
Strong Networking/IP experience and desktop support
Must have experience with VMware, Windows, Active Directory
Must be organized, posses strong decision making skills and strategic thought
leadership
Ideal candidate can function as a player/coach
Ability to articulate a business case
Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preferably in a start-up
environment
This is not an on-call position
