JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Qualifications: • 3-5 years experience as an ISS Officer/Information Assurance (IA) Officer • Understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, communications and their relationship to ISS/IA • Hands-on experience with DCID 6/3Certification & Accreditation methodologies, preferably NISCAP • Knowledge of Federal & DoD ISS/IA regulation, policies and procedures • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and be able to work well with internal and external customers • Ability to communicate technical terms/concepts to non-technical audiences. • Strong experience with Windows NT/XP • Ability to self-start projects and work without constant supervision • Formal government ISS/IA training Desired skills: • Knowledge of Sun Solaris/UNIX/Linux • Industry certifications (SSCP, CISSP, CISM, GSLC or other Security certifications) • NISPOM Ch 8 and/or NIST 800-37 experience Positions at U.S. Harris locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances.
