Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Maryland, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Job Description:
• Ensure system availability, data integrity and confidentiality of
classified & unclassified systems in a SCIF
• Evaluate ISS aspects of information technology hardware, software,
networks and communications interfaces
• Recommends measures to maintain compliance with government regulations
• Develops reports and security plans for IS systems
• Maintains databases for various systems
• Provides training and guidance to internal customers
• Acts as a liaison between internal and external customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience as an ISS Officer/Information Assurance (IA)
Officer
• Understanding of computer hardware, software, networking,
communications and their relationship to ISS/IA
• Hands-on experience with DCID 6/3Certification & Accreditation
methodologies, preferably NISCAP
• Knowledge of Federal & DoD ISS/IA regulation, policies and procedures
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and be able
to work well with internal and external customers
• Ability to communicate technical terms/concepts to non-technical
audiences.
• Strong experience with Windows NT/XP
• Ability to self-start projects and work without constant supervision
• Formal government ISS/IA training
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of Sun Solaris/UNIX/Linux
• Industry certifications (SSCP, CISSP, CISM, GSLC or other Security
certifications)
• NISPOM Ch 8 and/or NIST 800-37 experience
Positions at U.S. Harris locations may require citizenship for purposes of
obtaining clearances. This position requires a TS SSBI with ability to be
indoctrinated for SCI and a Full Scope Polygraph.
