The IDVA team provides global network intrusion detection to identify and SIRT any attempts from external or internal parties to exploit or otherwise compromise Citigroup assets and franchise. To provide deployment knowledge and skill of network intrusion detection systems, as well as in-depth analysis of intrusion detection alerts. Also, to support anomaly detection and correlation tools, and provide in-depth analysis of events detected by these applications . Included in this position will be the overall maintenance of the environments, configuration upgrades and tuning, SIRT escalations, 2nd level NOC support for all alerts detected. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- 1. Knowledge and strong understanding of information and network security principles, especially familiar with network and Internet security risks. 2. TCP/IP network Knowledge and skill - network topology and infrastructure (intrusion detection, firewalls, routers, switches, etc.) 3. Unix/Linux Knowledge and experience. 4. Experience with one or more Network Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability Assessment products. 5. Courses and/or on the job training in information security concepts and applications such as network encryption, network and host based intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, authentication, network protocols, packet analysis, and more.
