Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: San Diego, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

An enterprise security software company is looking for a highly motivated,
driven, lead developer for its engineering team in San Diego, CA. The job
involves working with current team members both onshore and off-shore,
understanding the current Gateway product, dealing with customer issues and
design and development of the next-generation architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
•Programming
•Project management
•Mentoring the junior engineers
Pay Range = 120K to 135K
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
•5-8 years experience in object-oriented software development.
•Very strong in C++, TCP/IP programming, multi-threaded programming and
real-time systems design.
•Development experience with distributed systems and/or highly scalable
systems highly desirable.
•Cross platform development experience a strong plus.
•Must be versatile and be able to handle customer issues as well as core
development tasks.
•Must have experience with engineering processes and product development
cycles.
•Must have good leadership skills, project management and mentoring
abilities.
•Must be a good team player, including working with off-shore teams.
•Experience in distributed architecture frameworks such as CORBA or SOAP a
strong plus.
•Experience in developing APIs and products for hosted environments a
plus.
•Experience with database design a plus.
