Our client, a leading provider of network intrusion prevention, is seeking a 
Client Support Engineer in the suburbs of Boston.

This person will provide remote technical support to all customers, partners, 
and field teams by researching, analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving 
technical issues encountered during installation and operation of client 
products.

The ideal candidate will currently work in a Client or Technical Support role 
in a 24/7 environment who is accustomed to taking and facilitating trouble 
calls.

On the security side, (s)he will have network security experience and 
thoroughly understand network security products such as firewalls, routers, 
Intrusion Prevention / Detection Systems ( IDS / IPS ), vulnerability scanning 
tools and how network traffic flows. Other important skills would include 
experience with vulnerability scanning tools, including Nessus, NMAP, ISS.

CISSP would be preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
- 5 plus years of experience in a customer support role with a solid 
understanding of network security products (firewalls, routers, IDS/IPS
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, including Nessus, NMAP, ISS. 
Also Windows and Linux
- Understanding of how traffic network flows
- Experience reproducing network issues in switched and routed environments
