Position: Jr. Security Analyst
Location: Denver, Colorado, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-01-18
As part of a Security Team this position will be responsible for the following:
- Prioritize and track installation of operating system and application
security patches.
- Assist with system and network security administration including IDS,
firewall, and investigation support.
- Provide security input and support on various IS and organization projects.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Two year Technical Information Systems or similar degree, or equivalent
experience
2+ years experience working in an area of desktop and/or server support
Experience with server and desktop operating systems
Understanding of patch management best practices
Understanding of information system security and security controls
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Strong independent problem solving skills
Good record keeping skills and an attention to detail
