Position: Security Auditor
Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-01-14
This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of GNS information
security and internal control initiatives and projects. Responsibilities
include:
- Providing information security and internal control consultation for GNS
Projects
- Managing the implementation of Information Security tools and projects (e.g.,
User Provisioning systems, Monitoring tools, etc.)
- Project Management for the annual GNS Transaction Processing SAS 70 audit
- Developing information security policies by performing analysis and research
on a broad range of technical subjects and security concepts and effectively
communicating these policies to both internal and external audiences
- Managing the creation and maintenance of Job Function Templates and Business
Rules for provisioning access to all GNS systems
- Responding to information security-related issues and audit requests
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Financial Services industry experience preferred
- 2+ years information security and/or internal control experience strongly
preferred
- Strong knowledge of SOX 404 and SAS 70 preferred; Knowledge of PCI a plus
- CISSP, CISM, GISP and GSEC certifications a plus
- Knowledge of information security tools and best practices
- Experience working with external auditors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent planning, decision making and judgment skills
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess risks and determine strategies required to resolve issues,
correct technical security problems and mitigate risks
- Demonstrated experience analyzing processes and procedures at a detailed
level while identifying control weaknesses
- Ability to work independently and function in a collaborative culture
- Ability to grasp IT concepts and systematic controls and manage relationships
with Technologies partners
- Must be highly motivated, flexible, energetic, and attentive to details
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and Project
