Position: Jr. Security Analyst
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2007-01-12
3-4 Entry Level positions available for new bachelor's and master's graduates
from C.S. programs and IA/Security concentrations, or others with 1-3 years
experience
Responsible for delivery of 24x7 Managed Security Services. Includes
monitoring, incident handling, intrusion analysis, research, customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Strong basic understanding of Unix, Windows and TCP/IP OS's.
GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification is required within 90
days of hire
GIAC Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW) is preferred
Basic understanding of security technologies including Firewalls, VPN,
Intrusion Detection/Prevention
Experience with one or more of the following security products: Firewall-1,
PIX, Snort IDS, RealSecure IDS, Manhunt IDS, Dragon IDS, Okena (Cisco),
Entercept (NAI), etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
