Senior Security Consultant
Job Summary:
As the Senior Security Consultant, you will develop security policies,
procedures and security certification and accreditation (C&A) packages for a
variety of commercial and government activities worldwide, as well as manage
personal task schedule to ensure milestones are met and project stays on track.
You will provide training to team members as needed and serve as customer
interface and liaison on task matters and prepares project status reports. This
motivated team player will prepare for and conduct customer briefings and
Technical Interchanges and develops System Security Authorization Agreements.
You will perform threat vulnerability assessments and provide certification
recommendations; direct and conduct security tests and evaluations; provide
technical support in the evaluation of security products; and develop
information systems security studies and report that address areas of
information system security concerns. The Senior Security Consultant will
create, edit
and review certification and accreditation documents and provide consultant
services in all areas of information system security, including physical,
administrative, personnel, computer, operations and industrial securities. You
will also maintain currency on governing directives, promote company services
and products and provide input and direction to company developed products.
Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned projects
• Train team members
• Serve as customer liaison/provide customer status reports
• Conduct Technical Interchange Meetings
• Conduct Security Test & Evaluation
• Perform vulnerability assessments/provide certification recommendations
• Finalize, pack, wrap and ship completed accreditation packages
• Create, review, edit and C&A documentation
• Perform security consultant services
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the design,
development, architecture and integration of engineered security requirements
into computer-based systems, a proven supervisory and communication skills,
including giving formal presentations and experience directing the development
of information and information security systems based on understanding the
information gathering and manipulation requirements of customers. The qualified
individual will possess a Master's degree, in Computer Science or related
field, with 3 years experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or
related field, with 5 years experience; or Associate's Degree, in Computer
Science or related field, with 8 years experience is preferred; or a High
School diploma or general education degree (GED), and 10 or more years related
experience in the field of Computer Science and or information technology. You
must be able to travel, as necessary.
Licenses/Certifications:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
• Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
• May be substituted for 2 years experience each
