Description
Ciscos CSIRT team provides global Incident Response services for Cisco Systems
Inc. CSIRT investigates all aspects of hacking and intrusion events at Cisco.
CSIRT is looking for a College graduate/Computer geek with 1-3 year of
technical experience in one or more of the following fields:
* Network administration
* System administration (Windows and Unix)
* IT security with a focus on computer forensics, incident response,
malicious code/exploits, anti-virus, etc.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of win32, exploits
and malware. Should be familiar with the latest malicious code trends.
Demonstrate customer service, communications, troubleshooting skills. The
candidate must be able and willing to follow process and demonstrate past
examples of doing so. Proven experience working in a global support
environment and working under pressure will be needed. Some travel. Willing to
work off-hours including rotational 24/7 on-call, enterprise event analysis,
primary response to security events, firewall maintenance and general case
handling.
