Position: Training / Awareness Specialist
Location: Cupertino, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Technical Trainer
The Instructor educates and trains new and existing users (Customers, Partners,
and internal employees) on the functionality of the ArcSight products. Ensures
consistent high quality training and education of customers through lectures,
demonstrations, and guidance in hands-on exercises.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares training materials and conducts classes to effectively communicate
features and functionality of ArcSight products.
Tailors on-site classes to meet client requirements.
Enhances customer satisfaction at ArcSight education centers by proactively
working with and relating customer feedback to the training administration,
marketing, and training facility maintenance.
Responds to inquiries from managers about customer participation, progress, and
achievement in ArcSight training.
Notifies course owners of any technical inaccuracies or incompleteness in
training materials/documentation.
Designs course outlines, gathering supporting technical documentation and
developing course workbooks and trainer notes.
Travel required 50%-75%.
Deliver Instructor Led Training based on approved ArcSight curriculum
Assist in curriculum development of instructor led training, computer based
training and web based lecture formats
Ensures proper planning for successful delivery of instructor led training
Interact with various internal ArcSight organizations as required to refine
education delivery for any customer training delivery
Maintains one's own professional development; including continuous learning of
new ArcSight products/technologies, and communicates experiences and solutions
to fellow colleagues and customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-10 years industry and minimum of 1-2
years teaching experience, preferably in Enterprise Security, advanced software
applications, databases, or computer operating systems.
Desired Experience:
Excellent instructing skills with class size 6 to 12 students
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to communicate product features
Ability to summarize a broad amount of information into key points
General knowledge of the ArcSight product
Motivational skills
CISSP or GIAC certification preferred
Education:
A BS or BA in related fields.
Membership/participation in Professional Education Associations.
