The Role
Due to planned expansion, this specialist computer forensic organisation
currently have two vacancies for forensic analysts, both working in their
London lab.
Preference is for experienced examiners for these analyst roles, consideration
would also be given to well motivated persons with a very strong technical
background of operating and file systems looking to move into this line of
work. Preference will be give to candidates with experience of Access Data's
FTK and Guidance software's EnCase ver 4.22 and 5.05 forensic software.
Development experience is a plus and any candidate should be happy working with
data at the byte level in a hex editor. This job requires a large amount of
technical report writing, liaising with police officers and where required,
giving evidence in court, so excellent communication skills are a must.
The client base is mainly law enforcement and so any candidate should think
carefully about their position regarding exposure to indecent material relating
to children before applying. Additionally, applicants will need to pass a
police security vetting which includes a criminal records check.
