Position: Security Engineer
Location: Dubai, , United Arab Emirates
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-12-21
Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of technology security
initiatives which include developing, documenting and implementing information
security standards and policies, assessing security exposures internally and
with business partners, driving standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley conformance.
Educating senior management of security risks and opportunities as well as
assessing security technologies and solutions and developing appropriate
security solutions, and training employees in security-related policies and
guidelines. Co-ordinate in the development and implementation of security
requirements and responsible for monitoring security exposure and reacting to
security incidents when they occur and participate in investigations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
•Qualification: BS in Information Technology or similar discipline
Familiarity with security policies and procedures as well as security
technologies
Demonstrated project leadership, facilitation, and customer service skills.
Technical project management experience
Strong business acumen with experience building consensus with cross-functional
teams and demonstrated ability to influence clients, team members, management
and external groups.
Solid experience with Network technology, Windows/Unix administration and
application development.
Strong written and verbal English skills
CISSP or similar accreditation, or participation towards accreditation
(desirable)
Experience: Minimum of 7 years computer experience
Minimum 2 years of security experience
