by industry veterans in a position where your current skills will be tapped
into while simultaneously giving you the opportunity to expand your skills into
new facets of information security. In this role, you will work from home when
not traveling to a client site. Expect travel in the 75% range. You’ll
deliver solutions that include but are not limited to: Network Vulnerability
Assessments, Enterprise Security Assessments, Penetration Testing, Security
Technology Implementation and Secure Network Design and Implementation,
Identity Management, Compliance Management and more. Our client is an
Information Security specialized consulting firm that helps organizations
operate reliably, profitably and securely at acceptable levels of risk.
You’ll deliver exceptional security services in a team-oriented

oth colleagues and clients. You’ll be rewarded for your expertise and
will be expected to share your knowledge for the good of the team. This
position is open due to growth. Our client has earned and retained the
confidence of many large and reputable companies. You will deliver security
consulting engagements; Manage the execution of the complete Information
Security consulting delivery process from gathering requirements to obtaining
customer sign-off; Up-sell where opportunities arise; Participate in the
process of generating proposals that effectively address client’s business
objectives and articulate value proposition; Effectively address project
management for engagements; Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation
of all information gleaned throughout assessment and penetration testing
processes as well as throughout delivery of consulting services. No visa
sponsorship is available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

This role requires a 4-year degreed, a CISSP and a seasoned, well-rounded
Information Security Consultant who demonstrates strong strategic and tactical
security planning skills along with exceptional client and expectation
management skills. You’ll demonstrate entrepreneurial experience and will
be excited about working in a small but rapidly growing security consulting
firm. You’ll be highly motivated, able to demonstrate results oriented
delivery from past engagements and will be a person of unquestionable integrity
with a positive professional outlook. A collegial team player and a solid
leader is a must. Required technical and security experience includes:
Experience with Microsoft and UNIX operating systems; Experience with
Firewalls, IDS, Penetration Testing and conducting Security Assessments;
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, Juniper, Cisco,
Vendor-Specific Certifications; Significant understanding of network protocols
and a demonstra
ted understanding of how to secure network protocols. Specific experience with
Microsoft Active Directory, MIIS, Directory Services, RMS, BMC Control-SA,
Authentication, Access Controls, Provisioning and LDAP are highly preferred.
Strong written communication skills are a must and extensive experience in
writing proposals is strongly preferred. Candidates who have previously
participated in public speaking engagements and/or have been published are
appreciated. A demonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance issues such
as SOX, GLBA, PCI, CISP, HIPAA, etc. is strongly preferred.
