Position: Security Consultant
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Our client, a global consulting company, focusing on Information Assets and
Enterprise Connectivity, is seeking a Senior level Security Consultant to work
with their clients in the NYC are engaging in the assessment of security risks
related to their clients platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Assess information security risks associated both with new and existing
networks, systems, and application environment and make recommendations on
security solutions that relate to vulnerabilities and risks
*Produce written reports /statements in detail on findings
JOB REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS:
*5 plus years experience in vulnerability assessment
*In-depth knowledge in the IT security field dealing with
TCP/IP,IPSEC, VPN, firewalls, IDS, Unix security administration
*Strong networking background (ports/dmzs/wireless/voip)
*Strong security background to identify vulnerabilities manually and enumerate
them according to threat level
*Script writing skills
*Familiarity with coding standards and code review (C, C++, .NET, JAVA)
*BS in Computer Science or related experience
*Must reside in or around NYC - no relocation will be considered
