Position: Software Engineer
Location: St.Louis, Missouri, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-12-10
Enterprise Security Software Firm that develops products that protect PDAs
such as Palm OS, Blackberry, Windows Mobile devices as well as Linux and
Windows based laptop and desktop computers. Currently my client is adding to
theirr mobile device engineering team to support .NET CF, JAVA MIDP and Symbian
OS development projects and is seeking an experienced Mobile Device Engineer to
be based in our headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Overall responsibility will be to provide product design and development for
enterprise security products
Responsibilities:
Commercial software and mobile device software design and development
(architecture, design, coding, test, etc.)
Delivery of advanced enterprise ready commercial data security systems.
Personal accountability and ability to complete tasks on time and on budget.
Creation of design and code related documentation.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Work closely with other highly skilled engineers in a productive team
environment.
Assist in the development of product deliverable documentation (User Guides,
etc.)
Qualifications:
BS in computer science or related field. MS in computer science or related
field is preferred.
Must be highly capable engineer with at least 3 years experience with embedded
systems and mobile device development.
Symbian OS version 9.2 development experience.
Java MIDP 2.0 JSR75 development.
.NET CF C# development.
At least 3 years of continuous C++/C/C# development.
Experience with Palm OS development a plus.
Experience in agile, XP programming methodology a plus.
Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication and encryption a
major plus
