Software Engineer/Analyst
Job Description:
PGP Corporation is developing multi-platform security software to secure email,
files, disks, and other media. This position will create custom applications
and scripts based on direct customer demand and to prototype add-on
functionality for future inclusion in the core application. You should be adept
developing scriptable UNIX and Windows applications by synthesizing together
both new and existing code. This position is located at our Palo Alto, CA
headquarters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• 3+ years C/C++ programming in a Unix and Windows environment
• 3+ years perl or python programming
• Understanding of networking and protocols
• Experience with CVS/Subversion and Bugzilla
• Experience with *nix, Linux, or FreeBSD system administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable:
• Experience with PGP and other security products
• LDAP and Directory Server Experience
• Experience with VMware
• Understanding of OpenPGP, OpenSSL, OpenSSH and other IETF security
protocols
• Familiarity with MAPI, Exchange Server, or Lotus Notes
• SOAP/XML/XSLT Experience
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
