Position: Security System Administrator
Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-12-09
Our engineering teams work on projects to implement advanced computer security
technologies for information operations. Primary emphasis is on the
prototyping, experimentation, and analysis of critical aspects of information
assurance technologies for host, network, LAN, C4I, and embedded systems. Each
position has unique skill sets that are required but there are core areas of
expertise that we seek:
• Systems administration expertise in some combination of Unix, Linux and
Windows
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain development and test ranges
that are rsponsive to the changing needs of computer security researches
• Strong knowledge of network management and network analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active Top Secret clearance or above is required. The office in Arlington is
small, approximately 80 professionals, but has grown rapidly with
year-over-year growth rates of 40%. Employees like the opportunities for
advancement that fast-growth offers, the small team environment (typical
engineering teams are 3 to 7 people), and the diversity & stability that comes
from the 200+ contracts that the AIT business unit supports. It’s a
casual dress environment and most employees have their own offices.
