Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-12-08
Our engineering teams work on projects to implement advanced computer security
technologies for information operations. Primary emphasis is on the
prototyping, experimentation, and analysis of critical aspects of information
assurance technologies for host, network, LAN, C4I, and embedded systems. Each
position has unique skill sets that are required but there are core areas of
expertise that we seek:
• Strong programming skills in some combination of C, C++ and scripts
(Bourne, Perl, Python)
• An understanding of low-level software as demonstrated by an expertise
in embedded software, device drivers, low-level OS commands
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active Top-Secret clearance or above. Strong software engineering skills and
an understanding of network topologies and scripting languages.
The office in Arlington is small, approximately 80 professionals, but has grown
rapidly with year-over-year growth rates of 40%. Employees like the
opportunities for advancement that fast-growth offers, the small team
environment (typical engineering teams are 3 to 7 people), and the diversity &
stability that comes from the 200+ contracts that the AIT business unit
supports. It’s a casual dress environment and most employees have their
own offices.
