Technical Requirements The Senior System Engineer must have an in-depth knowledge of software deployment, distribution, patch management and replication/recovery tools. Experience with Storage software helpful. The Pre-Sales Engineer must have an in-depth knowledge of two of the following Operating Systems: UNIX, NT, Netware or Windows 2000. The engineer must work towards attaining knowledge of the other Operating Systems. The Pre-Sales Engineer must obtain a working knowledge of all products. Must be able to install and demonstrate all products with a particular focus on the product set defined by their manager. The Senior System Engineer must obtain more than one product expertise (expertise categories as defined by product marketing) as assigned by the manager. Working closely with assigned sales personnel, the Senior SE is Responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle and is often involved with the client post purchase.
