This is a unique position, within a highly visible and respected organization.  
The Verizon Wireless Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) is 
looking for one well-rounded, highly motivated individual to join our team of 
computer security experts.  An example of some technologies you may/will work 
with:  Encase, Paraben, PSTools, OpenService STM, Dragon IDS, Niksun 
NetTrident/NetVCR, Open/FreeBSD, Tenable Security Center (Nessus), Snort


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Ask yourself these questions:  Do I breath, eat and sleep Information Security 
on a daily basis, and do I wake up each morning knowing that’s what I 
want to do with my career for the foreseeable future?  Have I performed digital 
forensic investigations using open source and/or enterprise class investigative 
software?  Can I write PERL, shell scripts and C code in the blink of an eye?  
Do I have a solid understanding of enterprise networking, and have I 
architected robust security infrastructures (which would assume you can 
demonstrate knowledge of TCP/IP and protocols)?  Can I multi-task with a level 
head in times of high stress?  Can I be on call?  Do I know what Risk 
Management really means?  Do I have previous CSIRT experience?  If your answer 
to most or all of these questions is yes, then please apply.
