The Role
Working in professional security services, your role will be to help develop an
information security consultancy practice. You will be involved with business
development, engaging across the various business areas in a global
organisation to provide outstanding services to our client base.
You are a strong self motivator with a proven ability to lead a team of
consultants in understanding and meeting client expectations, anticipating and
solving problems with minimal supervision and ensuring that deliverables meet
agreed work plans.
You posses a strong grasp of information security concepts and methodologies,
as well a practical understanding of security principles such as access
control, authentication, authorization, security architectures, forensics,
protection strategies, awareness and security management. In addition, you
must have a have a deep understanding of information security related risk,
regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements and the practical implementation
of them into a technical environment.
Requirements
Must be flexible and able to work both in London, Reading and other locations
as necessary
Responsibilities
Developing and integrating information security service lines into a global
organization
Providing consultancy and support to the business throughout the engagement
lifecycle - including pre-sales, presentations and workshops both internally
and to high profile clients
Managing and performing client engagements, including on-site work where
necessary (from technical assessments to global security reviews)
The Individual
Extensive Information Security industry experience
Excellent technical skills across all security disciplines, technical and
non-technical
Understanding of risk assessment and management processes
Understanding of BS7799, ISO17799/27000 series, ITIL, COBIT, SarbOx preferable
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management and team leading
experience essential
Deep, practical understanding of networking, platforms and security
technologies is essential
A recognized security qualification is desirable: Msc Security, CISSP, Check
Team Leader, CEH, CLAS
It should go without saying that outstanding communication skills are essential
