Position:       Information Assurance Engineer
Location:       Chantilly, Virginia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Closing Date:   2006-11-27

IA's nust have:

a)      At least 7 years experience in performing structured analysis, 
requirements and engineering analysis, and in defining concepts of operation 
and system requirements
b)      At least 5 years experience preparing various types of security-related 
documentation
c)      At least five years experience in the information assurance/security 
field
d)      Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems 
or equivalent experience

e)      Background in systems engineering, requirements analysis, system 
development, software development, or hardware development
f)      Demonstrable experience and understanding of the DSE compliance process 
and the DICAST process
g)      Knowledge of DCID 6/3 and IC certification and accreditation criteria 
and procedures.
h)      Knowledge of IC roles, missions, and operational enterprise 
architecture.
i)      Thorough understanding of industry information security standards and 
protocols


IA Systems Engineers should have:
a)      Experience completing Government software applications.
b)      Knowledge of commercial or military software development methodologies, 
process and standards.
c)      Experience with Web services protocols, including SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI.
d)      Hands-on experience with structured content tools and languages and 
content management systems.
e)      Additional experience with technology evaluations is beneficial.
