Position: Security Consultant
Location: Bangalore, , India
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-11-10
To conduct effective penetration tests at both the application and
infrastructure layer as well as security consultancy involving core
technologies such as (but not limited to) wireless, VOIP, firewalls, routers,
Windows audits, UNIX audits.
• To participate in risk assessments and audits where required.
• To produce reports in a timely manner inline with client and company
expectations to a reasonable quality as required.
• To produce executive summaries that demonstrate an understanding of
business risk.
• Provide daily feedback of activities to clients and managers
• To properly liaise with clients to manage their expectations and keep
them informed of technical developments in their work
• To present final deliverables to clients at board-level
• To participate in teamwork and activities relating to information
security including research and development.
• To maintain an accurate and current knowledge of information security
issues and principles across the broad spectrum of the discipline.
• To identify improvements to the technical team in terms of tools,
techniques, methodologies, templates & report standards, areas of work,
business opportunities and to ensure their management, implementation and
delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong penetration testing skills including application and infrastructure
layers
• Expert understanding of TCP/IP, and Windows and UNIX Operating Systems
• General security consultancy in the core technologies of UNIX, Windows,
Networks and Application Architecture
• Experience of system security auditing in the areas of UNIX, Windows,
Network/Firewall/IDS Devices and Code Reviews
Consultancy experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to write quality reports
• Organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to
meet deadlines
