Information Security Manager - CISSP, Policies, Procedures

THIS POSITION!
* Development and implementation of company Information Security Monitoring
strategy keeping tightly aligned to business drivers and industry trends in
technology.
* Plans, develops, implements and controls the Monitoring function of the
Corporate Information Security Program to reduce risk and provide a high level
of information security to the information and processes within company.
* Develops and maintains information security policies and procedures regarding
the protection of information assets.
* Provides project management on Information Security projects designed to
reduce risks and provide a high level of information security to the
information and processes within company.
* Evaluates performance of each team member, generates associate development
plans and sets goals within the context of the corporate policy.
* Must also motivate, coach, counsel and develop team members within the
context of the corporate policies and manages the teams budget. Ensures that
staff has appropriate tools and training. Maintain both manager and technical
personal skillset through training, industry conferences, etc.
* This position is also subject to being "on call" for emergency situations
requiring immediate resolution. Local tgravel between all company locations may
be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience Level:
5+ Years
Requirements:
This position requires a BS or equivalent technical training and 8+ years
experience in the IT industry, OR equivalent experience. Previous experience in
management is preferred. The position requires an extensive knowledge in
networking, databases and systems operations. Strong related experience in
developing security procedures and selecting/implementing automated
management/administration tools is also needed. This position requires strong
planning and organizing skills and must be able to delegate and manage the work
of internal and external personnel. The manager must also possess strong
problem analysis skills and be decisive as well as flexible. Excellent oral and
written communications skills are essential.
