BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for evaluating, implementing, coordinating and
supporting installation and maintenance of existing and emerging network
technologies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications with 4 years IT work experience OR 6
years IT work experience; 2) 4 years experience in the data communications
field, with a focus on design, implementation and support, and hands-on
experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure; 3) 4 years experience in Network
Infrastructure Security technology including firewalls, IDS hardware/software,
load balancers, penetration testing; 4) 4 years experience in the support and
maintenance of existing services, managing repair of services, ordering new
equipment, researching new technology in the Network Infrastructure Security
field, and interfacing/managing the technical aspects of our vendor
relationships;
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience; 2) 4 years experience with
Enterasys, Dragon products, Checkpoint/Nokia firewall products, Cisco Pix, and
Cisco Routers; 3) 2 years experience with F5 BigIP products;
