In close partnership with Federal Account Product Sales Specialists and 
Services Sales teams, provide Security technology-specific Advanced 
Technologies services solutions for Cisco accounts in a specific geography. 
Assuming a lead sales role, assess the customer needs, develop a custom 
solution, price, and contract for Cisco services required to ensure a 
successful implementation of the Advanced Technology Security solution. Drive 
continuous improvement of Advanced Technologies Security services portfolio and 
customer satisfaction through cross-functional leadership with Marketing, 
Federal Advanced Services Delivery, and the Advanced Technology Practice teams.

Overall Objectives and Responsibilities:
1) Increase rapid acceptance of Cisco Advanced Technology in the geography 
through: a) developing a thorough understanding of the Advanced Technology 
services portfolio; b) defining and articulating a Security technology-specific 
services strategy and solution for each customer opportunity; c) partnering 
with the combined Security Product Sales Specialist (PSS) teams to incorporate 
the solution into the customer Account Plan and successfully executing on the 
plan. Assume a leadership role utilizing field and customer experiences to 
assist in developing next generation Advanced Technologies Services solutions 
(Voice, Security, Wireless, etc).

2) Increase sales of Advanced Services for Advanced Technologies through: a) 
developing a thorough understanding of customer requirements; b) designing an 
Advanced Technologies Services Solution in response to customer requirements; 
c) effectively packaging, pricing, and presenting solution to customer, 
including ROI and value proposition. Develop and present RFI/P responses, 
statements of work, service engagement documentation, priming/partnership 
solutions, risk assessments, margin analysis. Assure booking, and be aware of 
change requests and milestones (invoicing).

3) Cross-functionally align with the following organizations: 
* Product Sales, Advanced Technologies Product Sales, and CA Service Sales: to 
ensure alignment and consistency in go-to-market strategy; 
* Services Delivery: to ensure proper capacity planning of resources, scoping 
of customer requirements and deliverables, and inclusion of subject matter 
experts (technical, delivery) in sales cycle as required; 
* Advanced Technologies Practices Organization: to ensure awareness of the 
enablement tools and methodology and provide feedback as to ongoing market 
requirements. 
4) Develop and manage territory sales strategy which will meet or exceed 
bookings targets. Provide weekly forecasting and visibility into sales activity 
by keeping a current pipeline using Cisco forecasting tools.
5) Applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Candidate selected may be subject to a 
U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements 
for access to classified information. A current TS clearance is preferred.
6) Ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis.

Skills Desired: 
* MBA Preferred.
* CISSP or CISM certification preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to understand and interact with senior level customer 
management (Director, VP, CXO). 
* General understanding of legal contracts, including Federal Acquisition 
Regulation (FAR).
Skills Required: 
* In depth knowledge and experience in sales of Security technology. 
* 10+ years of field based customer service and sales experience/exposure in a 
high technology environment (networking preferred) 
* 10+ years experience with Strategic Account Planning, Consultative Sales, 
including experience crafting comprehensive service solutions to articulate 
business benefits of those solutions.
* 5+ years of sales experience in selling to the US Federal Government. 

A current TS clearance is preferred.

Skills Desired:

* Demonstrated ability to understand and interact with senior level customer
