Position: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Richardson, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-11-18
This task assignment is for a proactive, hands-on, principal software project
engineer that possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This person must have a demonstrated record of being directly responsible for
the acquisition of new business regarding U. S. DOD crypto software development
and leading such projects to technically and programmatically successful
conclusions. Individual must be capable of developing systems level software
architectures for DoD communications applications with NSA oversight. The
individual must have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in software
development for DoD customers. They must have developed C/C++ in embedded
applications using custom and third-party real-time operating systems.
Position requires knowledge of and experience with SNMP, TCP/UDP/IP, data
networking, UNIX-based operating systems, and Government security accreditation
processes and procedures. Experience must include embedded software developmen
t supporting diverse communications interfaces and graphical user interfaces.
Additionally, the individual must have a minimum of 5 years experience with
software project management. The successful candidate will have experience
with geographically disperse software developments, Government certification
programs, and software subcontract management. They also must have experience
with software cost estimation and developing successful proposals for the U S
Government. Must have familiarity with CMMI and DoD Software processes.
Individual should have a demonstrated history of accomplishments on complex
software engineering projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Initial assignment involves participating in bid and proposal of U.S. DoD
cryptographic solutions.
A current, transferable US Secret security clearance is required for this
position.
