IT Security Manager

A large enterprise environment seeks a dedicated Manger to oversee the
operations of its Gateway Management team in Melbourne.
You will manage a team of up to ten staff working on the day to day operations,
maintenance, and security across the Australia region.
Security is your main concern - this position requires you to engage with other
security teams to ensure the company’s security policies are adhered to.
Role responsibilities will include :
* Creating a framework of security principles, procedures, operational
processes, support capabilities and reporting
* Maintain the continuous availability of the security infrastructure
* Lead and mentor staff
* Develop specialised proposals and detailed technical evaluations of products
and techniques to meet business needs
* Ensure a scalable security infrastructure
* Oversee complex security infrastructure problems with vendors
* Utilise Tech expertise and judgment to develop solutions to business needs
* Continually evaluate working practices
* Ensure 24x7 support is available for security operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential skills include :
* Significant management experience within IT Security
* Extensive IT security Experience
* Knowledge and understanding of the Banking and Finance industry
* Tertiary qualifications in technology
* Security certification
* ITIL, COBIT
* Ability to manage, structure, plan and deliver large complex changes within
an IT infrastructure environment
* Proven negotiation, relationship management skills
