Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2006-11-17
Lead SAP Security Analyst needed for a contract assignment in Bellevue, WA.
This position requires a SAP security subject matter expert to lead the design
and development of security roles for our client's IT support organization.
Responsibilities:
- Use best practice knowledge to help design appropriate designs for
operational processes such as batch job scheduling, maintenance & transport,
etc.
- Lead workshops and design sessions to develop proper security roles for
members of the SAP production support teams.
- Work with project management to perform work according the defined
methodology and complete deliverables on time.
- Bridge the gap between Technical and Functional teams in IT / SAP.
- As a role design SME, this person will be responsible for the daily
deliverables of the project, coordinating efforts among team members across
multiple departments, and facilitating requirements and solutions meetings with
the client.
- Work with project management to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience designing/defining security roles for SAP system
implementations.
- Ability to work independently, provide leadership to security analysts,
provide unique solutions to customer issues, and be able identify and implement
best business practices for basis security.
- Consulting skills including ability to coordinate and lead meetings with
client personnel, lead process definition workshops and work in a challenging
environment.
- Strong SAP security skills and in depth knowledge the SAP security model
across FI, HR, BW, SRM and CRM SAP systems.
- A solid understanding of the structure of a support organization for an SAP
support group and the security access required for users.
- Understanding/knowledge of best practice organization and processes for batch
job scheduling, user provisioning, emergency access requests.
- Expert knowledge of SAP security design for operational support.
