Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: NEW YORK, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-11-12
Software Security Consultant responsibilities will include conducting security
assessments, communicate recommendations to clients in verbal and written
format. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures,
security tools and network technologies. Develop and maintain client
relationships.
Must have 3+ years of commercial software development experience in Java, C++,
or ASP.NET (C#) environment. Must be both competent architects and developers
and looking to make a transition to a consulting role. Job responsibility will
include security code reviews of enterprise applications, threat modeling,
development of free tools and instruction of our Writing Secure Code (ASP.NET,
C++, or Java) classes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
3+ years of commercial software development experience in Java (J2EE), C++ or
ASP.NET (C#). Web services implementation experience, security code review
experience preferred. Implementation experience of security features such as
MS CAPI, JCE, authorization and authentication models, etc…
4 year degree (technical preferred), Master’s a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
