Position: Security Consultant
Location: Dallas, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-11-12
The Managing Consultant will conduct security assessments; communicate
recommendations to clients in verbal and written format. Maintain up-to-date
knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools and network
technologies. Develop and maintain client relationships. Assist the sales
process. Identify and develop new sales opportunities in existing and new
clients. Manage consultants during engagements. Manage consultants'
professional development. Promote Foundstone in the public via articles,
presentations, and press releases.
Responsibilities
As team leader, manage and perform network assessments and other client work
related to Foundstone's professional services offerings; analyze the results of
engagements to determine systemic findings, deliver analysis to clients.
Identify and develop new clients and professional services engagements.
Maintain technical proficiency, sharing knowledge throughout the firm through
tool development, template enhancements and methodology enhancements. Identify
and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures.
Mentor consultants and peers in new techniques, tools and other job skills.
Manage the professional development of consultants.
Teach Foundstone's training courses; update and create course content.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 6 years industry experience, including 4 years subject field experience
(networking/consulting/computer security)
Experience performing web application pen tests, network pen tests, server
config reviews, firewall reviews, etc
Manager-level experience in Big 5 desirable
4 year degree required (technical degree preferred)
Masters Degree helpful, but not required
CISSP certification required
MCSE, CCNA/CCIE helpful, but not required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
