Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: REDWOOD CITY, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

This professional Sr. Software QA Engineer position will be responsible for the
quality aspects of complex network intrusion prevention systems deployed in
consumer and enterprise client side security solutions, as well as on network
based security solutions. The position will perform white box testing, design,
implement and maintain new and existing test tools, automated test harnesses
and scaffolds in C, C++ and Perl, perform code and design reviews, actively
participate in the QA process, and be responsible for writing test plans and
test specifications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The individual should be an expert level troubleshooter with expert ability in
one or more areas of test automation, network security, quality assurance, and
signature based detection technologies, network layers 2-7 protocols, combined
with abilities to work directly with source code (C/C++).
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of applicable professional QA
experience or as a specialist in applicable technologies. The candidate must
also have 4-5 years experience with C/C++ programming and Perl scripting. CSTP,
CSQA / CSTE, or CISSP certifications a plus.
