Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: REDWOOD CITY, California, United States

Senior Software Engineer
Knowledge and use of;
Network Protocols
Regular Expressions
Network traffic analysis tools such as Sniffers, Disassemblers, and Network
Scanners
Experienced at IPS signature development derived from vulnerabilities,
exploits, worms, viruses, and other forms of malware
Experienced understanding of System Administration including operating systems,
applications, routers, switches, servers, and other networking devices.
Excellent problem solving skills; Ability to be action-oriented; ability to
work with minimum supervision and set priorities; good written and verbal
communication skills;
Analyze vulnerabilities & exploits and develop algorithms to detect them
reliably.
Develop IPS signatures for selected threats.
Incorporate IPS signatures into existing products.
Perform network traffic analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS

3-5 year development experience on Windows and/or UNIX platform.
Knowledge of open source and commercial IPS systems.
