Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States
Type: Permanent P/T

Nortel Government Solutions has an immediate opening for an Information Systems
Security Officer located in Columbia, MD. Summary of expected duties and
responsibilities: - Ensure proper operation, maintenance and disposition of
information system assets and resources in accordance with Government customer
security policies and procedures including those documented within system SSPs.
- Ensure all users have requisite security clearances, authorization,
need-to-know, and information system security awareness training prior to
receiving access to information system assets under his/her purview. - After
receiving ISSM approval, initiative protective or corrective measures in
support of information systems under his/her purview. - Develop and maintain
Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of information systems. - Conduct
periodic review to ensure compliance with system SSPs. - Ensure system recovery
processes are monitored to ensure security features and procedures may be prope
rly restored. - Ensure information system security related documentation is
current and accessible to authorized users. - As required, notify ISSM
regarding modifications potentially affecting system accreditation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

· BS in Computer Science, CISSP certification and 3-4 years functional
experience.
· TS/SCI with full poly required
