Description: 
To provide industry exceptional product / hosting support, development 
assistance and development service with a high degree of customer satisfaction, 
technical expertise, business acumen and timeliness. Provide technical 
leadership to operations analysts relative to Cybertrust’s Toolkits and 
Application products and Services as well as supported third party software.  
Functional Responsibility: 
1. Problem/Query resolution - 
Provide expert and creative solutions for problems reported on Cybertrust 
Products to ensure external and internal customer satisfaction and 
productivity. 
Coordinate escalation of user, product and support issues among sales, product 
development and marketing to ensure timely distribution of knowledge and 
positive impact on customer satisfaction and productivity. 
Where necessary replicate customer environment/issues on GSS test lab. 
Where escalation to engineering is required, provide detailed diagnostic 
information including problem origination theories, environment configuration, 
debugging output and relevant logs and traces. 
Ensure regular feedback is provided on problem status to customers, GSS 
Management where issue is a P1 or P2 and to relevant development and product 
management staff and co-ordinate problem fixes/patches when available. 
Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via Operations 
Analysts, Call hand over, callbacks or escalations from the field, and provide 
support on electronic services, in accordance with current standards. 
Research, develop or recommend, and test diagnostic tools and aids for 
improving diagnostic capability relative to developer tool set. 
2. Product review - 

Co-ordinate with development team on product release process and Perform 
quality Assurance testing on fixes/patches as appropriate. This should include 
frequent meetings and internal communiqués, to be initiated by both 
parties. 
Review product documentation for new releases. 
Communicate product enhancement suggestions, both personal and customer 
generated to product management with due consideration of impact and value. 
Generate technical and business tips & FAQs via an on-line Knowledge Base, on 
products, their installation, use and maintenance. 
When possible, assist with product Beta programs for new releases including 
site selection, software distribution and generation of feedback. 
Demonstrate an awareness of and impact on relevant product support issues on a 
company-wide basis. 
3. General - 

Provide Technical leadership to Operations Analysts. 
Maintain quality of data on problem management system and other production 
systems. 
Work with development and product management organisations in the generation of 
training materials and the provision of training to Support, sales, pre-sales 
and customers as required. 
Provide technical coaching, and mentoring to Operations Analysts on all 
technical subject areas relating to Support. 
Refer any sales opportunities identified through customer interface to sales 
staff. 
Identify and request any resource requirements for enhancement of the developer 
programme software, hardware, training, etc. 
Maintain and enhance understanding of new technologies and share knowledge with 
colleagues. 
Perform any other duties as deemed appropriate  



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements: 
Technical Degree or equivalent experience 
Minimum five years in appropriate technical roles. 
Understand Development life cycles, including knowledge about what a review is, 
code changes, builds, QE/QA, etc. 
Strong hands-on knowledge of operating systems (particularly MS Windows & Sun 
Solaris), networking, databases (Oracle), data comms and the Internet. 
Solid customer relations and support skills 
Applied team communications and interpersonal skills. 
Good Writing Skills 
General presentation skills. 
Familiarity with Network Security issues, including Firewalls, existing 
technologies such as SecureID and Public Key Infrastructures 
Familiarity with PKI, network security and/or encryption a distinct advantage. 
Travel 

5% International 
Shift - 2 positions 

10:00 to 18:30 Shifts Monday to Friday, Weekend on-call 
Rotating 8:00 to 16:30 & 16:00 to 00:30 Shifts Monday to Friday, Weekend 
on-call
