Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Network Security Analyst
Wipfli LLP is one of the largest CPA and business consulting firms in the
country. Our growth spells opportunity for a Network Security Analyst on our
IT team. You will join Wipfli’s 700+ professionals in 17 locations who
serve close to 20,000 clients throughout the Midwest.
The person in this position will be responsible for:
• Maintaining and analyzing output from security systems
• Assisting with internal security assessments
• Consulting with IT staff and managers to evaluate, design and implement
security tools, processes and training
• Assisting with evaluating and developing methodologies and tools for
vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, monitoring and system auditing
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 3+ years related network experience
• Familiarity with security systems
• Familiarity with Windows 2003, DNS, FTP, SMTP, WWW servers
• Familiarity with products such as enterprise anti-virus, PIX firewall
and wireless security
• Capability to use protocol analyzer, network sniffers, cryptographic
tools, methods and protocols (PKI, SSL, IPSec, PGP, DES)
• Familiarity with Intrusion prevention and detection technologies
• MCSE, CCIE or other comparable premiere certification
• CISSP, SANS, GSEC, or other certifications are a plus
