Position: Security Engineer
Location: McLean, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-10-09
This is a FULL TIME position to be hired by a HUGE international company. Their
Washington Federal Practice at currently has openings for qualified network
security professionals.
THERE ARE SENIOR LEVEL TO MGMT LEVEL OPENINGS!!!
Responsibilities: Projects may include security policy development, risk
assessments of IT environments, network penetration testing, security reviews
of operating system platforms and component software (UNIX, Linux, Windows,
Novell, Oracle, SQL Server, Apache, IIS, etc.), Internet/extranet security
(Firewall architecture, Web server security, VPN, web application security,
etc), E-commerce security (PKI, EDI, etc), Intrusion Detection and Prevention,
and CyberCrime response.
Projects also include the development and communication of security solutions
to client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and
presentations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Required:
Bachelors in Computer Science or Informations Systems; Masters preferred
Job Requirements:
Three - five years security experience with hands-on knowledge of network
attack & penetration testing and security diagnostic reviews. Strong technical
and IT experience in operating systems and networking required.
Technical knowledge of N-Tier application architecture design including depth
in operating systems, networking, firewalls, intrusion detection, and other
enterprise-wide security related topics is a must.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
CISSP or equivalent a must
Successful candidates will possess the ability to interact effectively with
clients both to obtain and deliver sensitive information and have an interest
in and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information up to and including TOP SECRET/SCI and full life
polygraph.
