Position: Forensics Engineer
Location: Cardiff, , United Kingdom

REAL HARDCORE IT FORENSICS ROLE!! READ ON!! Cardiff/Swansea area.
I’m a specialist recruiter looking to make contact with some talented and
able IT forensics consultants. IF you are able to do this job you will already
know precisely what it will involve. The right kind of person is going to have
at least 3/5 years or more experience in the field, and have already been
involved in a number of court cases as an expert witness. You’ll be a
methodical individual with an attention for detail, preferably educated to
degree level in an IT related field.
The role will involve post-mortems of security incidents, and investigation of
computer fraud at the highest levels. Such a role is very client facing, and
the right people will have a very consultative approach and great
communications skills. Such work is often sold on the person rather than the
ability so a believable and genuine approach is the only one.
You’ll hopefully have experience with standard forensics toolkits, and
ability over and above this perhaps in programming and OS manipulation.
A very interesting role, for a very interested candidate.
